Navigating life isn’t always easy or fun, and with the only constant being change, I want you to know that you don’t have to go it alone. In therapy, my goal is for you to feel safe, seen and supported. I bring an authentic and collaborative approach to our work together and am focused on creating a nonjudgmental space for your experiences, emotions, identity, and honesty. I guide sessions through a person-centered lens and utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), aiming to foster insight, highlight strengths, and build useful coping skills. Through these therapy modalities, I typically bring mindfulness, acceptance work, and value-aligned action steps into sessions.
I understand that sociopolitical and socioeconomic factors often impact us in ways that can create ongoing stress and threaten our sense of safety. Because of this, I also do therapy from an anti-oppressive perspective, hoping to cultivate personal wellness within society’s overarching systems.
I look forward to accompanying you on your journey of self-understanding, growth, and living as your most authentic self.
I am guided under the direct clinical supervision of Holly Ramaeker, MA, LPC, LCPC.
