I want to establish a therapeutic alliance where clients feel genuinely heard and understood by providing a secure, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment. I hope to empower each client to explore their thoughts and feelings, gain insight into their experiences, and develop the confidence to explore change that is meaningful to them. I believe that person-centered counseling has the ability to help individuals discover their own strengths and potential. I have a strong desire to see my clients grow in ways that matter to them and I hope to support that growth in each client's counseling journey. I have a passion for working with young people, children to young adults as I find this to be such a formative time in one’s life. I strive to create an environment where younger clients feel safe and valued as the unique individuals they are. I believe that through counseling many people receive the support they need in order to thrive and I hope to walk alongside my clients in this process.
